ⓘ Rounding: money lines are rounded to the nearest cent, and the total on screen is the sum of the lines on screen. The marketplace's own rounding can differ by a cent per line; in tiered rate cards the direction of that difference is not guaranteed.

Sell-through rate = Units sold in the period ÷ Units available
= 480 ÷ 1,400 = 34.3%
Units left = Units available − Units sold in the period
= 1,400 − 480 = 920
Daily sales = Units sold in the period ÷ Period
= 480 ÷ 30 = 16.0
Days to sell out at this pace = Units left ÷ Daily sales
= 920 ÷ 16 = 58
Written with the on-screen (rounded) figures; the last digit may differ by ±1 from rounding.
Sell-through = units sold in the period ÷ (opening stock + units received) × 100 — the classic retail definition. Days left use the period's average daily sales; season and promotions change that pace. Similarly named metrics in marketplace dashboards may use a different period or denominator — compare like with like.

The problem

Sales look fine, stock does not move.

Watching units sold alone misleads: the real question is how much of what you had available actually sold, and when the rest runs out.

📦

Overstock

A low sell-through means storage and aged-stock costs.

🚨

Stock-outs

A high pace can mean the rest runs out before your reorder lands.

🧮

Mixed periods

If sold exceeds available the tool warns: the numbers are from different periods.
