Old rates still circulate
Since January 15, 2026 standard 0–0.5 lb is $0.84; some calculators still show $1.04. This tool takes the table from Amazon's own page.
Rounding gets missed
Standard-size under 1 lb rounds up to 0.1 lb, the rest to the whole pound: 0.56 lb → 0.6 lb → $1.53.
Special handling uses another table
Apparel, shoes, watches, jewelry and dangerous goods pay the large-size removal table even when standard-size, but the standard storage rate.
