Is the search volume real data?

No — it is an ESTIMATE and is badged as one on screen. Etsy does not publish search volume, so no tool can measure it. The MEASURED column is the competing-listing count, read from Etsy's own result counter. When a keyword cannot be measured the cell stays empty rather than being filled with a guess.

How many keywords does a search return?

25-30 long-tail keywords. The list is produced in two parallel halves; if one half fails at the provider you get an explicit "list is INCOMPLETE" warning and that result is not cached.

Does the region selector change the data?

No. Etsy's search API has NO regional filter — the measured listing counts are global Etsy results. The selector only shapes the language and currency framing of the generated keywords, and the app says so on screen.
