Calculate Etsy fees and your profit.

The Etsy Payments rate, its flat fee and the regulatory operating fee all vary BY COUNTRY; all three come from a verified 61-country table (transcribed 2026-08-06, verified 2026-08-07). The flat fee is shown in its own currency and converted to USD at the 2026-09-07 rate — you no longer type a foreign amount into a dollar box.

Once a shop passes $10,000 in any consecutive 365 days Etsy LOWERS the Offsite Ads rate from 15% to 12% — but past that same threshold participation becomes MANDATORY and cannot be switched off. Either way the fee only arises on ATTRIBUTED orders (the share field below). There is a $100 per-order cap and the tool applies it.

The fee is 15% (12% once the shop passes $10,000 in 365 days) but ONLY on orders attributed to an ad. Above $10,000 participation is mandatory and cannot be turned off. Set the share to 0 and the line disappears.

Share & Save: on an eligible order placed within 30 days of a click on your own share link, Etsy REFUNDS 4% of the order total to your payment account — the same base as the transaction fee (item + shipping, excluding taxes collected from the buyer). This is not a deduction but a credit: it raises net profit. In the first two weeks after you enrol the rate is 6.5%; the calculation uses the standing rate.

Your payment account is in your country's currency; if your listing is in a different one, Etsy takes 2.5% of the order total as a conversion fee. Most sellers outside the US who list in USD do not realise they are paying it.

This VAT is not Etsy's fee but a GOVERNMENT tax charged on top of them, and its base is the sum of every fee line (listing + transaction + payment + regulatory + ads + conversion). Sellers who supply a valid VAT ID are not charged it. Where a country has no single rate (Canada federal+provincial, India 5–28%) the tool does NOT invent one: the row stays "—" and the total EXCLUDES that line.
