Does this tool estimate listing sales?

No. Etsy does not publish per-listing unit sales, so this tool produces no listing sales or revenue figure. What is measured: views, favourites, listing age and the shop's lifetime sales — the shop-level sales pace is derived from those and labelled as derived.

How is tag frequency calculated?

The tags of the 100 measured listings are counted; each tag shows how many listings use it, with the denominator. It is a COUNT — not a search volume and not a claim about which tags are 'most effective'.

Which Etsy markets are supported?

Etsy's search API has no regional filter, so results are global Etsy results. Prices in other currencies are converted to USD at the live rate; a row whose rate is unknown is excluded from the median rather than counted as USD.
