Yes — but YOU type the rate. The tool does not guess a rate from the category: you enter the duty percentage (ADDING any extra tariff such as Section 301) plus other import fees, and they are spread into the landed cost. The base is the US/FOB rule — for a CIF base use the Landed Cost Calculator.

What repays the investment is the CASH a sale brings in (price minus the marketplace cut), not the profit: the unit's own cost is already inside the money you paid up front and is not subtracted twice. Ads, storage and returns are still outside this.
