How often are rates updated?

This free calculator fetches no rates — you type the rate. In the dashboard rates come from open.er-api.com, which publishes once a day; we re-fetch hourly so you always see the latest published rate. It is NOT an intraday live market rate — which is why you can also type the rate in yourself.

What's Amazon's conversion fee?

Amazon publishes the FEE for its own converter: it falls from 1.50% to 0.75% by volume tier, and is 2.00% for JPY (source: Amazon's own page, verified 2026-09-08). What it does not publish is the exchange rate itself — a third-party provider's rate is used, so your real deduction against mid-market is HIGHER than the published fee. Wise does not mark up the rate and charges a separate fee; live quotes we measured on 2026-09-08: USD→EUR 0.55%, USD→TRY 0.73%. We could not verify Payoneer's rate from a primary source, so we do not quote one. Type your own provider's rate into the calculator.

Which currencies are supported?

There are 18 currencies in the table, and here they all are: USD, EUR, GBP, TRY, JPY, CAD, AUD, MXN, INR, BRL, AED, SAR, SEK, PLN, SGD, CNY, KRW, VND (last synced 2026-09-07). ⚠️ This free calculator has NO currency picker — and does not need one: the axis of the calculation is USD and you convert both legs at the rate you type, so it works with a currency that is not on the list at all. The list is where the EXAMPLE rates in the fields come from; in the dashboard that same list appears as the display-currency picker and the rate is fetched for you.

Does the price include VAT?

VAT is not your money: you collect it and hand it to the state, so it belongs in neither revenue nor profit — it is printed as a separate note row. There are two "yes" options for a reason: where Amazon collects the VAT itself the commission is calculated on the net amount, while Trendyol and Amazon TR publish their rate against the VAT-inclusive price. The default (No) reproduces the tool's current result exactly.

ⓘ Every amount here is USD — not a country's rate card but the axis of the calculation: both legs are converted to USD at the rates you type. The example rates in the fields come from a fixed table dated 2026-09-07; enter your own bank's or provider's rate.

ⓘ Rounding: money lines are rounded to the nearest cent, and the total on screen is the sum of the lines on screen. The marketplace's own rounding can differ by a cent per line; in tiered rate cards the direction of that difference is not guaranteed.

The payout leg's fee is charged on what the marketplace actually PAYS you — its commission is withheld in the marketplace currency, never reaches you and is never converted. The sourcing leg is charged separately (a leg whose rate is 1 counts as not converted). ⚠️ If you sell in a VAT-inclusive market (EU/UK/TR) use the VAT selector: the tool strips the VAT out of revenue and applies the commission base your marketplace publishes. With the selector off, a gross amount inflates both the revenue and the commission by the VAT. Shipping and storage are outside this quick check.
